I will stamp all over 'credible fighter' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to promote next month's boxing match.

Ex twice unified title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Fighter's Attitude

"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, stated.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's my intention."

Respectful Exchange

Despite those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Opponent

Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Paul's History

Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.

Financial Success

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, frequently receiving massive paydays.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would prevent the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.

Physical Disparity

As both boxers met for the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually happening.
